INVENTORY AUDITOR
 
Job Specification:
A graduate of any course
At least 2-4 years of experience in an Inventory Audit
Full working knowledge of Lean Concepts with demonstrated success
Exceptional accounting and excellent documentation skills
Proven analysis and presentation skills
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask
Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities in a complex environment.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Review supply chain documents (PR, PO, Invoices, Vouchers), and other records to ensure that all items have been accounted for.
Performs continuous accuracy checks or physical inspections of stockrooms to ensure the following:
Accuracy of actual physical records versus system records.
If Inventory levels are in line with company standards.
Internal controls in releasing and use of supplies are followed to avoid general losses.
Stocks are properly stored to avoid damage or spoilage.
Review inventory reports, locate inventories' error sources, and recommend corrective actions.
Determine or countercheck selling prices of supplies if accurately valued for financial purposes.
Performing cycle audits to ensure that the company is accurately recording inventory costs in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Assist in establishing inventory KPIs to measure the inventory custodian's performance per area.
