EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of Engineering course; preferably with manufacturing experience
Computer literate and above average written and verbal communication skills
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures that the directions provided by his superior relating to logistics-related operations are being executed.
Manages , plans and directs warehousing and distribution groups to ensure 3PL's conformances to the company objectives, policies and procedures.
Coordinates and interacts with several sections at Plant, other departments of SMC / SMPFC / BBC organizations, customers , distributors and Logistics contractors /operators
When necessary, provides management with accurate and up-to-date information on stocks inventories, dispatches, unserved orders and other information relevant for decision
Constantly coordinates with BU Planners by relaying critical information and/or data needed in order for them to generate a reliable production order necessary to meet sales target and to collaborate with Transport team for the required trucking resources needed for product movements/deliveries.
Plans , initiates and executes improvements/ work simplifications / cost savings initiatives and programs in Plant Logistics systems and processes.
Recommends, collaborates and implements long and short term strategies to achieve and satisfy Finished Goods requirements and contingency programs in Plant Logistics operations.
