Job Description
The Inventory Analyst - RM Issuance is responsible for the accurate & timely issuance of consumed raw materials indicated in the run tickets for the production of Animal Feeds (Finished Goods). He/She is also responsible for timely sub-inventory posting for any RM inventory movements from different external locations and vice versa.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Run Ticket Issuance (Consumed RM Posting)
Receive & validate run ticket reports from Production team.
Run Scada-Oracle interphasing to issue consumed raw materials in Production.
Transact remaining consumed RM not included in the system interphasing which requires manual issuance transactions.
Ensure accurate & timely posting of all consumed raw materials and submit material usage reports to Feeds Cost Analyst/Specialist.
Summarize issues on RM issuance & report TOi to the involved teams for immediate resolution.
During the month-end, complete all RM issuance & summarize pending items due to TOI. Endorse the items for accrual or adjustment to the Inbound Logistics Manager.
Escalates issues encountered in the ERP system & other systems being used to the immediate TL & servicedesk team for the immediate resolution.
Miscellaneous & Reclass Transactions
Responsible in posting reclass transactions relating to RM movements in the Production process:
posting of RM intermix
posting of corn/wheat cracking
posting of RPM generation & conversion
posting of FG pellets used for powermix runs
posting of barox consumption
posting of rebagging of FG products
Performs miscellaneous transactions on the following accounts:
WIP Clearing
Inventory Clearing
Interdivision Clearing
Inventory Others
AP Trade
Other miscellaneous transactions
Inventory Reconciliation & Tracing
Participates in the conduct of scheduled inventory count.
Ensures that transactions are posted in the system prior to the count date to update system balances.
Inputs system transactions & balances in the variance recon file.
Analyzes & traces RM variances in the production side in coordination with the production team.
Identifies issues & root causes that contribute to the inaccuracy of inventory & suggests action plans to effectively resolve the issue.
Escalate issues to the immediate team leader or department.
Food Safety:
Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.
Other Tasks:
Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.
Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of a four-year course, preferably business-related
Experience:
At least 6 months in related work
Licenses:
Other Requirements:
Knowledge of warehousing, inventory management and control.
Computer literacy in data processing and company required software.
Ability to communicate well, both oral and written.
Sense of urgency.
