Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the onshore Inventory Controller in developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices
• Report inventory statistics to management and suggest improvements to inventory control
• Monitor the inventory levels and request to replenish stock as needed
• Liaise with the internal team and ensure the quality of stock purchases
• Forecast supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability
• Track inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock
• Analyse and review data to identify and resolve issues
• Generate purchase and pricing reports, inventory and stock analysis, and inventory management systems
• Perform regular stock checks and report any issues, if needed
• Maintain and update records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records
• Review inventory pricing mechanisms to identify opportunities to optimise inventory purchasing values
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Business Administration or related
• At least 5 years of experience in an Inventory Controller or Inventory Analyst role (Understand of critical spares management)
• SAP experience, particularly in the Work Order and Materials Management modules
• Able to demonstrate experience in extracting and analyzing data and producing visual reports to provide insights to the business
• Experience in a large industry, particularly in large operating sites or plants that hold a large inventory balance of maintenance parts and equipment (NOT low-value, fast-moving goods e.g. Retail)
• Proven ability to identify and implement business improvement opportunities
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to new tools or software
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
