Job Description
Job Objective
The Inventory Analyst for Flour RM & Wheat is responsible for managing the flow of materials and supplies from receiving to issuance, monitoring and control of inventory levels and maintaining accurate inventory reports and timely submission to all stakeholders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Materials Receiving
Ensures that all incoming materials are checked, received and stored in the proper location, reports any damages or delivery discrepancy.
Performs accurate and timely system receiving.
Provides communication feedback to production, QA and other concerned departments on material availability.
Maintains effective communication and coordination with the Purchasing Group in ensuring materials requirements and delivery agreements are adhered to.
Conducts timely posting of cost update for the incurred cost relating to freight & labor of the received/transferred materials.
Materials Issuance
Ensure that all material and supply releases/withdrawal are supported by Requisition or Materials Transfer Slips duly approved by concerned Department Head.
Performs timely posting of all material issuances in the system.
Performs wheat issuance/transfer for the transferred wheat to the Production bins from the silos,
Materials and Inventory Management
Ensure proper tagging and labeling of all material received stored at the warehouse for identification and traceability.
Manage and maintain inventory records of Flour RM (ingredients & packaging materials).
Ensure monitoring inventory accuracy by conducting regular physical inventory count or cycle count.
Generates reports to monitor inventory management and convey results to management and ensure that operational goals are achieved.
Analyze inventory records to determine the demand for materials and appropriate stock levels to maintain.
Identify discrepancy in the inventory records and conduct analysis to determine the root cause of the error.
Ensure regular checking of the materials to assure quality and maintain good physical condition.
FOOD SAFETY:
Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.
OTHER TASKS:
Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.
Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of a four-year course, preferably business-related
Experience:
At least 6 months in related work
Licenses:
Other Requirements:
Knowledge of warehousing, inventory management and control.
Computer literacy in data processing and company required software.
Ability to communicate well, both oral and written.
Sense of urgency.
