INTERNAL CONTROL SPECIALIST
(Project-Based)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Internal Control Specialist based in Cebu will be joining to a global worldwide team and will be supporting Alstom's internal control missions:
To support and advise 1st and 2nd line of defense to implement sustainable processes and controls to leverage the performance
To design based on risks, assist sites, perform testing procedures, perform Internal Control review, and monitor action plans
To maintain the Delegation of Authority matrix and ensure effectiveness via regular updates with the functions and communication
To maintain the Segregation of Duties matrix and monitor implementation
To contribute to various initiatives and projects assigned in areas such as automation, standardization, process improvement, risk monitoring and management, compliance training, among others.
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Finance or Accounting. A CPA will be considered an asset;
Possesses approximately two (2) to five (5) years of solid experience in an auditing is required, ideally with the Big-4 firm experience is an asset
Accounting and Finance experience will also be required
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other applications;
Experience with data analytics and risk management is a strong advantage;
Operates independently while establishing strong working relationships with co-workers and cross-functional teams;
Possesses strong organizational and prioritization skills, and can work individually;
Demonstrates critical attention to detail and deadlines, and self-motivated;
Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priorities in a project and deadline-oriented environment;
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Project based contract role 12 months (with possible extension to 18 months)
Normal shift, must be flexible
Must be willing to work in Cebu City
