Job Summary:
The Internal Auditor evaluates and provides reasonable assurance that risk management, control, and governance systems are functioning as intended and will enable the achievement of the institution's strategies and objectives. The incumbent analyzes risk management issues and internal controls deficiencies identified directly to the President and the Board of Trustees and provides recommendations for improving the University's operations in terms of both efficient and effective performance.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education: Completion of a bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Business Administration; a Master's degree in Business Administration will be a definite advantage.
Experience: At least three years of progressive experience in the field of finance and operations management
Core Competencies: Persons being considered for appointment to the position should exhibit the following mandatory job dimensions at point of entry:
