Description
Conduct risk assessment of assigned department or functional area in established/required timeline and risk based audit programs.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Establish risk based audit programs.
2. Participate in meeting with the President and Department Heads to discuss operational concerns.
3. Prepare and document process flow of other business solutions.
4. Determine scope of review in conjunction with the Audit Manager.
5. Conduct audit testing of specified area and identify reportable issues and dimension of risk.
6. Determine compliance with policies and procedures.
7. Examine financial records, information storage systems and internal controls to ensure there are no indications of mismanagement, unnecessary waste of resources or fraud.
8. Review all records and information related to expenditures, cost, taxes and internal controls to determine if a company is secure and has a strong financial foundation.
9. Obtain and assess objective evidence fairly.
10. Remain true to the purpose of the audit without fear or favor.
11. Evaluate constantly the effects of audit observations and personal interactions during an audit.
