The Role As an Internal Auditor under the Collections Division, you will be responsible for overseeing the Collections compliance on the overall process based on the approved manual and guidelines of Collections. You must provide immediate updates to resolve findings noted during the Self-Assessment and Day 2 checking conducted. You will also be responsible for monitoring the timely resolution of complaints under Collections. How you'll contribute Initiates updating of Operations Policy Bulletin (OPB) or and the Collection manual by collaborating with the Unit Heads and strategy team for new strategies for implementation. Perform Risk and Control Self-Assessment (SA). Ensures Day 2 checking testing as part of SA is being done and proposes necessary control based on the result of the testing. Provide inputs when the new strategy for implementation is based on the existing policy, guidelines, BSP rules, and regulation. Provide reports related to complaints and Day 2 checking. Point person for the 7S compliance Coordinate compliance and data privacy-related tasks. Coordinate with Customer Care Unit on complaints-related inquiries. Communicate issues identified by the unit to the Collections management team with a clear action plan to resolve these with acceptable time frames. Provide high-level assessment and disposition to investigated customer complaints. Ensure timely conduct of Self-Assessment (SA) for approved collections processes and procedures across the collections department for both internal and external collections. Ensures timely responses and resolution of customer complaints. Monitors timely resolution of the action plan based on audit findings What we're looking for Bachelor's Degree in Business, Banking, Audit, and Compliance or any related field At least 5 years of experience in internal audit Knowledgeable of bank's products and processes, BSP Circulars related to collections particularly Circular 857- Consumer Protection Framework and industry practice in Complaints Management Should have good verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office for Windows is required Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel Strong time and people management skills. Must have good critical thinking skills and exercise sound judgment
