Looking for an internal auditor to add value and improve our operations by bringing systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The successful candidate shall possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgement.
Responsibilities
Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk assessment and control management over operation's effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts, etc to determine effectiveness of operations and compliance with current regulations
Document process, prepare and present audit reports that reflect the company strengths and weaknesses to management, and provide recommendations as they develop action plans to fix these issues
Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding rules and regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards
Handle additional duties and special projects as needed
Requirements
Candidate must possess:
At least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 2 Year(s) of work experience in Auditing - Operations, Finance, or equivalent. Experience in IT/systems audit an advantage
Knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
Integrity, independence, and sound judgment
Highly dependable and can handle confidential data/information
Good communication skills
Advanced computer skills on MS office, accounting software and databases
