SUMMARY OF ROLE
-Facilitate Enterprise Risk Management
-Perform Internal Audit Operations/Reviews
-Conduct investigations on accounting and auditing matters
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
-Performs internal risk-based audits, which may include developing work programs, conducting interviews, gathering facts and evidence, and preparing audit work papers, as appropriate.
-Reports discrepancies and ensures that audit issues are well defined and root causes are identified.
-Assists in developing formal reporting system to communicate results of audits to management
-Develops and executes continuous auditing techniques and data analytics
-Takes the lead in the development of new/amended audit processes, specific innovative ways of working and new ideas for reviewing risk and control issues.
-Conducts integrated audits with the operational/process internal auditors to create value-add internal control and business process improvement suggestions and recommendations, with emphasis on profit maximization.
-Support ethics compliance program and any investigation activities that may be assigned to Global Audit
-May facilitate work of external auditors during on-site visits, or manage external consulting resources, as required
-May require audit knowledge and skills in finance/accounting and/or information systems operations.
-Facilitates risk identification and risk assessment process; monitors the enterprise risks portfolio and risk treatment plans
