JOB SUMMARY :
Perform audit procedures as assigned by Audit Supervisor/Audit Head. Document any findings noted and provide recommendations for process improvement and/or issue resolutions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
a. Educational requirement : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; preferably CPA
b. Experiential requirement : With at least one (1) year experience in
Accounting and/or Audit
c. Required technical skills : Basic computer skills
d. Required interpersonal skills : Excellent written and oral communication skills;
good human relations skills.
Duties & Responsibilities of Head Office Auditor I/ II
1. Performs operations audit for those high risk areas of the company or those areas indicated in the Annual Audit Plan. These audit areas may include the following:
a. Review the accuracy of the Financial Statements of PAAPDC and the Affiliates
b. Review collections and deposits.
c. Review bank reconciliation by preparing an independent bank reconciliation
d. Examines the correctness of the following:
· Various subsidiary ledgers of different accounts
· Inventory of buyers' subsidiary ledger or folders
2. Prepare audit reports to summarize the findings noted, with recommended action plans to improve internal controls
3. Discuss the results of the audit with the immediate superior and participates in the discussion of issues with the audittees.
4. Monitor the Audit Recommendations Tracking Report to ensure that prior audit recommendations are implemented, action plans are performed and audit findings are closed timely and effectively
5. Polish/review applicability of audit procedures while conducting audit functions
6. Perform other Auditing-related work that may be assigned by the Audit Supervisor or the Department Head
