Because internal audit decisions should be made in a consistent and organized manner somehow internal auditors including its staff should possess analytical skills as a key competency. As an internal audit staff, you are expected to identify some issues, problems and weaknesses and its riskiness to the bank and to make a recommendation on how to resolve the issues and strengthen internal control. The work of an internal audit staff is always accompanied by the goal of achieving its objective for a particular subject. It is important for an internal audit staff to stay focus on results and time table in the drive of achieving a goal set in each audit activity. Day-to-day Activities
Works with internal audit team in carrying out internal audit plan and programs. Internal Audit Staff is task to help in reviewing the organization's compliance with policies and laws, monitoring, analyzing and assessing the risks and controls of the organization. Specific audit and day to day activities is based on audit plan. The audit activities includes but not limited to physical cash count of cash in vault and other cash items, review of loans from applications, processing, approval, collections, documentations, etc; review of financial and other related accounting reports, review of branch and head office compliance with certain policies, laws and standards, review of overall banking operations, conduct confirmation of loans, deposits, receivables, payables, etc.
Qualifications/Experience
Graduate of BS Accountancy
2 YEARS and up experience in auditing is REQUIRED
Good communication skills (oral, written, report writing and presentations)
Knowledge in accounting, financial and legal systems
Knowledge with relevant standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
Ability to work multiple task or assignments independently
Ability to adapt with industry and regulatory changes and practical application
Possess objective and independent judgment
Possess a high level of professionalism, integrity, and truthfulness in all dealings
Possess advanced skills in computer applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other accounting software
