Roles and Responsibilities
Liaising with administration and accounting teams to assist with day-to-day operation of the firm
Assist in the management of a portfolio of clients ensuring the highest standards of service and quality of work at all times
Maintenance of effective relationships with clients through quick response to client needs
Ad hoc support to other accounting staff
Minimum Qualifications
With 2-3 years of experience in AU Tax Compliance
Ability to complete bookkeeping
Ability to process payroll
Ability to prepare IAS / BAS
Understanding of basic CGT principles and potential CGT concessions is desirable but not required
Ability to prepare individual tax returns
Ability to prepare annual tax compliance work and associated working papers (financial statements and income tax returns) for: family & investment trusts and small trading companies
Ability to use software inclusive of:
Xero (required)
Xero Practice Manager (required)
MYOB AccountRight (desirable, but not essential)
MYOB Essentials (desirable, but not essential)
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
