Job Description:
Develop creative design concepts that blend function, style, and client preferences.
Produce detailed drawings, mood boards, and material specifications using industry software.
Visit sites to take measurements, assess conditions, and ensure plans match real-world spaces.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to keep designs aligned with project requirements.
Source finishes, materials, and furnishings that fit the design direction and budget.
Monitor ongoing work to maintain design accuracy and quality.
Stay updated on design trends, new materials, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
Minimum of 1 year experience in interior design, space planning, or project support.
Proficient in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D tools).
Strong understanding of color theory, materials, lighting, and spatial planning.
Strong communication, visualization, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and collaborate with a project team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality design projects.
Knowledge of sustainable design principles and material selection.
Familiarity with construction processes and site coordination.
Background in 3D rendering and presentation development.
