Job Description
Develop architectural and interior design concepts that align with client objectives and project requirements.
Create detailed design drawings, plans, and layouts using CAD software or traditional drafting techniques.
Select appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and lighting to enhance the overall design.
Oversee all phases of design projects, from concept development to completion.
Establish project timelines and budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project.
Responsible for the upkeep of drawing transmittals and document control.
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and vision for the project.
Maintain open and effective communication with clients throughout the project.
Present design concepts and proposals to clients, incorporating their feedback and making necessary revisions.
Ensure that all designs adhere to building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction and renovations.
Conduct site visits to assess project progress, address any issues, and ensure design specifications are being met.
Oversee quality control and provide guidance to construction teams.
Monitor project budgets and expenses, making adjustments as needed to control costs.
Source materials and furnishings that align with the project budget while maintaining design integrity.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design solutions.
Integrate sustainable and environmentally friendly design practices when applicable.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 8 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Architecture / Urban Studies or similar fields.
Must have at least 8 years of experience in Interior Design
