Job Description
An Integration Engineer that specializes in creating and implementing technical solutions that integrate applications in the organization or a specific ecosystem.
Duties and Responsibilities
Gather and analyze requirements from initiative stakeholders
Design and build integration solutions (e.g., APIs, microservices, events, data pipelines, etc.) to meet technical and functional requirements
Resolve all code-related issues with deliverables arising from security and other quality scans
Create test data, stubs, and simulators required to support performance, integration, user acceptance, penetration, and other tests required by Globe's testing team
Create fixes for defects raised during testing and stabilization phases
Deploy approved interfaces and provide hypercare support
Identify and communicate project risks and opportunities
Develop documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
Build components following Globe's software engineering principles and enterprise integration principles
Serve as technical subject matter expert for Globe projects with their own integration development squads
Propose and implement continuous improvement activities to ensure maintainability of Globe's integration platforms
Qualifications
Must have
At least 3 years hands-on technical delivery work experience in backend software development. This should include technical design, code development specifically creation and enhancements of APIs, microservices, and data pipelines.
Technical skills in Java, Node.JS, and AWS (Lambda, Redis, DynamoDB)
Nice to Have
Previous work experience in a telco or tech integration companies
Basic experience in NGINX+, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana - Experience in Google Cloud Platform
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
