The Integration Architect will play a key role in architecting and managing the implementation of the interconnections of systems across the company to ensure the architecture implementation is fit for purpose, understood, and agreed by the team, in addition to ensuring it has been implemented as intended in alignment with the Enterprise-wide guide rails and policies. In your role as Integrations Architect, you will work and mentor team of Integration Developers, collectively shaping the strategy, architecture, and standards of integration. You will technically lead the team in the implementation of the strategy ensuring it is aligned with the architectural intent and the broader Enterprise guardrails (architecture, data, security). Your future duties and responsibilities: . Understand the business requirements, provide accurate estimates and develop the code. . Define the strategy for integration including Real-time API, Message Transformation, Event Sourcing, ETL, and other patterns. . Partner with business teams and engineering teams to understand needs, desired outcomes, and constraints. Produce solution options and Design Documents to industrialize those specific solutions. . Specify, publish and govern API standards in line with the Enterprise and Industry standards for security and data. . Consideration for operational concerns when creating solutions (monitoring, logging, continuous deployment). . Conduct code reviews with team to ensure the architectural intent has been realized. Conduct benchmarking / Load Test to ensure the proposed architecture is fit for purpose. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Detailed understanding and expertise in architectural design using the following: . Extensive hands-on experience working on integrating with enterprise and third-party applications . Understanding of agile development practices and DevOps . API Management using MuleSoft or Apigee . Messaging integration tools such as Kafka and IBM MQ . Middleware Tools like Dell Boomi and IBM IIB . ETL Tools like DataStage . Gateway Tools like Datapower . REST Services and Microservices using Java platform. . Integration solution architecture using various integration patterns across hybrid and cloud environments . Worked with containers and container orchestration technologies (such as Kubernetes or VMWare Tanzu) .
