Position Title: Insurance Authorization & Eligibility Specialist
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 PHP a month
Reports To: Partner, Partner Advisor
Primary Relationships: Partner Staff
Date: February 2024
Schedule: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM PHT
Responsibilities:
1. Patient Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient needs and medical history
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine the most suitable care plan for patients
2. Care Coordination:
Facilitate the seamless transition of patients into our healthcare programs
Coordinate with physicians, caregivers, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
3. Documentation and Recordkeeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient orders and care plans
Ensure compliance with healthcare documentation standards and regulatory requirements
4. Communication:
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Provide clear and concise information regarding healthcare programs and services
5. Patient Education:
Educate patients and their families on healthcare programs, treatment plans, and available resources.
Ensure patients have a clear understanding of their care plans and are equipped to participate in their healthcare journey.
6. Quality Assurance:
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and interventions.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
Medical Allied Graduate or with Medical Eligibility and Authorization Experience
Preferably in a clinical or community healthcare setting
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and documentation standards
