Job Responsibilities:
Train, supervise, maintain and develop the functional skills of clients in the areas of activities for vocational, community living, social, recreational participation and employment readiness
Plan, monitor and review Individual Training Plan and other assessments (e.g. Standard Work Performance, Progress Report etc.).
Work closely and collaboratively with allied professionals and families in the implementation of intervention programmes for the clients.
Plan and meet production deadlines
Implement gross and fine motor training for when required
Provide performance updates to caregiver when required
Administrative and Operations - Record trainee's attendance and training fee, assess trainee's assessments, liaising with suppliers/vendors/customers
Engage and empower students in the relevant key learning areas
Involve with other staff in planning, deployment and CIR for any assigned school events/ programmes/ initiatives
Monitor the development and behaviour of students
Perform the role of Personal Development Mentor (PDM) in ensuring the well-being and safety of students
Consolidate and generate termly reports
Job Requirements:
'N' Level/ 'O' Level/ WSQ Certificate/NITEC/Higher NITEC/ Diploma or equivalent
Preferable to have 1-2 years of working experience with persons with special needs in sheltered workshop environment
Experience in teaching/ special needs education would be an advantage
Technical Skills Specific- Student Development/Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Behavioural Skills - Interpersonal, Classroom Management, Takes Initiative, Effective Communication
Language Skills-Strong in spoken and written English
Good interpersonal and communication skills and a good team player
Good computer literacy skills
