Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee Accountable for delivering learning and development programs to the business unit Primary Responsibilities Participates and provide inputs in the planning of the annual and as needed strategy for learning solutions and building domain and capability within the tower Participates and provide inputs to the business on improving performance through training solutions Assists in the maintenance of the competency framework of the tower Implements policies, processes and procedures relating to learning and development programs Continuously contribute to the improvement of systems, processes and procedures Demonstrate knowledge of and guide others on using QBE's HR and learning systems Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure L&D solutions meet business/customer needs, including business stakeholders, Operational Excellence, Transitions and Knowledge Management teams Responsible for delivering new hire onboarding classes Responsible for delivering new hire classes and monitoring performance end-to-end Works with internal and/or external service providers with regard to the development, facilitation and evaluation of programs Work with Subject Matter Experts in developing or delivering programs Assists in needs analysis and needs identification, training delivery, vendor relationship management, course participation management, logistics, and other activities as required to deliver learning and development services to the business Facilitation of programs as assigned by L&D Manager and Lead Learning Specialist Enables SME facilitators Required Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience Required Experience 1 year relevant experience Preferred Competencies/Skills Strong communication skills Good facilitation and presentation skills Good stakeholder management skills (consulting, engagement and influencing) Good problem solving and negotiation skills Preferred Knowledge Basic to intermediate knowledge of general insurance or shared services functions Basic knowledge of instructional design Basic knowledge of adult learning theories Basic knowledge of organizational development principles QBE Cultural DNA Everything we do at QBE is underpinned by our DNA (which interlinks seven cultural elements) - because we know it's not just what we do that matters, it's how we do it that makes the difference.
