JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Instructional Designer to join our team. Reporting to the North American Implementation Manager, this role will be an integral part of the global Products and Platforms team for the GHD Digital business.
About the job:
As the Instructional Designer, you'll be responsible for designing and developing online customer product training courses and supplementary resources for all GHD Digital products. You will work independently and collaboratively with a cross-functional team of product managers and trainers to develop online customer education tools (guides, videos, courses) using our Learning Management System (LMS). This includes writing transcripts, recording videos, creating quizzes and assessments, writing guides and organizing training content into easy to understand modules for our customers.

You are passionate about adult education and learning. You have a strong attention to detail and enjoy building error-free adult education materials that communicate complex concepts in simple terms. You embrace new technologies and learning opportunities. You work well independently and with a team.
What you'll do:
Creates mapping and design documents, storyboards, recommendations documents, and other required documentation
Writes audio and video scripts for instructional multimedia
Writes and organizes supplementary customer education spaces for products
Conducts quality assurance audits of existing online courses and ensures content is up-to-date with the latest product releases
Manage and ensure data integrity on the learning management system, and look to create automation, enhanced functionality and user training and awareness
Incorporate feedback into ongoing enhancement and revisions of learning programs
Create, manipulate and organize data to support decision making
Provide Instructional design standards for e-learning trainings
Act as point of contact for internal and external users on the learning management system
Your skills, experience and qualifications:
Three-year Diploma/Degree in Adult Education, Educational Technology, Journalism, English, Training and Development or a related field of study
At least 2-5 years experience in a learning and development role with demonstrated expertise in learning program management
At least 1 year of video editing and creation experience
Experience in Learning Management System administration
Strong understanding of Microsoft products, such as Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Strong consulting and analytical skills
We won't complain if you also have:
Experience working with a number of digital tools and platforms such as CMS, online forms, etc
Experience working with Jira and Confluence or other digital task tracking tools
Understanding of web accessibility requirements under the AODA, Section 508, and WCAG
Experience working with cross functional teams across a global organization
Exceptional communication skills including written, oral and visual medias
Commitment to process improvement, effective problem solving and ability to think creatively
Work schedule: Monday to Friday - 4:00 pm to 1:00 am
This job offer can be based either in Makati, Quezon City or Cebu City.
