As an instructional designer, you will develop training solutions to address performance gaps and improve knowledge retention among our Newfold employees. You will be responsible for executing instructional design projects and tasks through analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, while actively collaborating with senior instructional designers, SMEs (subject matter experts), stakeholders, and other L&ES (Learning and Employee Success) team members. You will also support and manage the maintenance of existing learning programs.

Responsibilities:
Execute instructional design projects within established scope, timeline, quality standards and resources
Write learner-focused content that enforces learning objectives and meets internal standards of quality
Develop course materials (including FGs, PGs, Slide Decks, eLearnings, Job Aids, Communications, etc.) which integrate interactivity and engagement to drive learner success
Develop multimedia content (e.g. graphics, video, audio, etc.) for training and communications
Collaborate with SMEs, IDs, trainers, and others on content gaps, course materials, and assessments to ensure course goals and objectives are met.
Develop project timelines with major milestones in accordance with business needs
Upload, test, and manage content in enterprise LMS (Learning Management System)
Revise and maintain the existing course library and all training materials
Performs quality reviews on training materials and provides feedback or edits
Proactively communicates any concerns regarding scope, timelines, and quality of a project or task to ID or all necessary parties involved.
Consults with stakeholders, SMEs, and trainers to identify skill gaps and design engaging learning solutions
Analyzes learning needs and recommends learning solutions and strategies to address knowledge and/or performance gaps
Work closely with our analytics team to evaluate the business impact of training projects and develop metrics
Develop course deployment procedures and documentation for trainers to implement courses and curricula
Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions to prepare Learning Specialists and SMEs for training new courses
Design and develop course assessments that align with project goals and learning objectives
Contribute to the continuous improvement of instructional design and training development processes
Participate in pilot training to gather and implement feedback
Assist with the facilitation of learning sessions as needed

KSA (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) Requirements:
eLearning development skills using at least one major authoring tool like Articulate 360, Captivate, etc.
Self-starter with an ability to learn and use new software and systems quickly
Working knowledge of Instructional design processes, learning methodologies and adult learning principles
Proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across multiple sites
Ability to quickly develop a wide breadth and depth of highly technical knowledge
Working knowledge of small businesses and the use of domains, hosting, email and site builders to establish an online presence
Organization, detail-oriented, time management and project management skills
Proven ability to work creatively and autonomously while driving projects to successful completion
Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience Requirements:
3+ years using various multimedia or eLearning software like Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite, Camtasia, Canva, etc.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred: experience with graphic design principles
Preferred: experience working from storyboards and/or learning design plans
Preferred: experience working with and managing content in an LMS
Preferred: experience developing learning curriculum for technology, call center and/or customer service/sales
Preferred: Learning delivery experience
