Role Overview:
Charts the expansion direction of the segment handled by marrying knowledge of science and consumer through crafting of New Product Development (NPD) architectures (existing and new spaces), providing directions for NPDs as input to strategic documents and gate reviews, and creating the entry strategy for identified new spaces.
Leads the Project Team for each innovation initiative leveraging on process mastery as a tool to create speed to market strategies, foster effective collaboration, and deliver the business requirements.
Ensures end-to-end management of the Stage and Gate process to ensure speed and sound business decisions to progress innovation initiatives (pre and post launch)
Actively seeks out new ideas to grow the business and adds value to customers by identifying market trends and insights that can be used as input to innovation strategy (i.e. molecules, formats, claims, spaces, etc.) and identifying NPD process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Attained bachelor's degree in any business or science-related course
With at least three (3) years of experience in product development and/or product launches
Has background and experience in brand management or marketing background
Has innovative thinking potential - can bring to life new ideas, can do responsible experimentation, etc.
Adept at project management and with cross-functional/task force team management experience
Must analytical, insightful and strategic in thinking
Experience in pharma industry is an advantage
