As an Infrastructure Automation Specialist, you will be a part of a dynamic team passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. Your future duties and responsibilities: In this role, you will be managing requests and supporting server and virtualization environments. This role will require communication and interaction with multiple internal and external clients to ensure all modules are in harmony. Furthermore, you will also troubleshoot and develop new enhancements to achieve targeted results. Under the supervision of the Infrastructure Service manager, the member will be responsible for ensuring that our platform is built on a reliable and efficient infrastructure - from our developers' local environment to the production servers. Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of automation processes throughout the software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for: Development - Developing, maintaining and evolving automation within the organization (e.g., write and maintain playbooks) - Ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the automation platform - Participate in the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the team's development practices - Write and maintain documentation related to the architecture. System Administration - Participate in the definition, deployment and maintenance of our production hardware and software infrastructure - Analyze logs and performance of production systems and support infrastructure and correct problems when vital - Ensure compliance with established security standards (industry best practices, certifications, etc.). - Ongoing training Stay ahead of technology and industry standard processes - Leading and participating in daily scrums - Participate in planning tasks and supporting team leaders in coordination of activities - You will also have to participate in the development or improvement of scripts - All other tasks requested by the manager Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Essential Qualifications - 3 years of experience in a similar role - Infrastructure knowledge. - Virtualization Knowledge (ESX), Windows/Linux environment - Automation expertise with Ansible (asset) - Ability to write in Bash/Powershell to meet deliverables - Understanding of Microsoft and Linux Operating systems - Super verbal and written communication skills in English and French Desired Qualifications - Independent worker that requires little supervision beyond initial scope expectation and transfer of requirement - Curiosity about application level support, migration and deployment activities - Ability to work directly with infrastructure support team to understand and propose automation opportunities - Sophisticated knowledge and hands-on technical experience in an Agile development Professional Attributes - Results-oriented with a strong track record of successful delivery - Participate and network externally in industry forums to share standard methodologies and gain competitive intelligence Education and Certification - College degree with a focus on Information Technology/Communications, or equivalent Skills: - Ansible - BASH - Linux - PowerShell - Python - Unix #LI-SR1 Skills: Ansible BASH Linux PowerShell PowerShell What you can expect from us: Insights you can act on While technology is at the heart of our clients' digital transformation, we understand that people are at the heart of business success.
