Reporting to the Developmental Planning Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible in the drafting, preparation and consolidation of the Transmission Development Plan, ERC Regulatory Reset Application for System Operations (SO), Telecom& SCDA Master Plans, Assets Register and Asset Management Policies for SO. Planning for the development/improvement of SCADA, Telecom and Protection systems, and research on technology and industry trends.
Responsibility 1: TRANSMISSIONDEVELOPMENT PLAN, REGULATORY RESET CAPEX APPLICATION, AND TELECOM & SCADAMASTER PLAN MANAGEMENT
Planning for the development of network infra and sustenance/upgrades of network elements;
Secure and organize operations data and maintenance records for planning purposes;
Analysis on the performance and reliability of SO facilities and recommending ways to improve;
Review and evaluation of the technicalrequirements of regional SO's;
Coordination with other groups on linkages pertinent to implementation of SO's development plan/programs;
Coordination with O&M in the programming of upgrades and replacements of network protection elements;
Research on the latest technology and industry trends, adoption of methods and procedures based in globally accepted engineering standards and practices;
Demand forecasting, analysis and subsequent facilities dimensioning;
Responsibility 2: SYSTEM OPERATIONSASSETS MANAGEMENT
Updating ofSO Assets Register;
Updating of relevant network diagrams, monitoring of inventory and performance of equipment/systems;
Formulation of Asset Management Policies pertinent to Secondary Grid Elements (Telecom, SCADA and Protection).
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering;
Registered/Licensed Electronics or Electrical Engineer;
Three(3) Years of Relevant Experience;
Fluent in Oral and Written Filipino and English;
Competent in the use of computer-based office automation tools.
