Description
- Conducting hardware maintenance every second and last quarter of the year to monitor the hardware health status particularly the Central Processing Unit ( CPU ) which is the most important part of the personal computer
- Attending the relayed concerned pertaining IT Hardware issue and performs troubleshooting
- Purchase of hardware items which is diagnosed as defective and requires urgent replacement to avoid further delayed of transaction by requesting department
- Monthly monitoring of conditions on non- partisan hardware i.e monitor, printer, mouse, keyboard, UPS, AVR and peripherals
- Weekly monitoring of scanning functionality and activity of antivirus
- Annual inventory counting on all IT hardware of every client users to note their existing hardware possessions
- Safety keeping of the End User License Agreement ( EULA ) for the company used software i.e Operating System License
- Safety keeping of the driver installers and manuals of all client computer hardware for future back up purposes i.e monitor, printer, motherboard, videocard and sound card
- Daily monitoring of network connections to lessen the latency which affect the transferring of data
- Assigning of Internet Protocol ( I.P ) for newly requested client computers
- Maintenance of Internet Protocol ( I.P ) to avoid redundant assigning on a client computer that requires by the server to be recognized for data accessibility
