Description
The Information Technology Assistant shall be responsible in resolving all IT-related issues in the company, from software, hardware, and systems and also training employees on these matters. The person shall also be responsible in concerns of our retail stations in terms of their POS concerns.
Installs new software and hardware components, regularly evaluating IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.
Assists with system and network administration tasks, ensuring data storage is safe and secure and supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network.
Works with hardware vendors to resolve equipment failures/problems;
Performs routine security checks on the system and installs, repairs, and removes wire and cable lines;
Assists with complex technical projects. researching and recommending system equipment upgrades and managing equipment inventory;
Prepares reports related to the team.
Does other special tasks as required, specifically on POS and INFOTXT issues and concerns.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other similar degrees.
At least a year of experience in information technology is preferred.
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Capable of working on a variety of operating systems including Windows, Apple IOS, and Linux.
Excellent understanding of software systems including network, enterprise, and office programs.
Good knowledge of Mobile devices troubleshooting, Windows and Microsoft Office applications, networking, hardware knowledge for troubleshooting, POS Operations, and reports preparation.
Good knowledge of inventory management.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Amenable to work at Pasig City and Pasay City
