Welink MCS is hiring for an Information Security Officer (Assistant Manager/Officer) in behalf of a client partner in the Financial Services Industry

Job Summary:
The ISO will help to safeguard SCGC's overall IT Platform and Infrastructure. The ISO will plan and carry out security measures to monitor and protect sensitive data and systems from infiltration and cyber-attacks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Plan, manage, and implement SCGC's Information Security policies and procedures.
•Sets and implement user access controls and identity and access management systems
•Monitor network and application performance to identify and irregular activity
•Perform regular audits to ensure security practices are compliant
•Deploy endpoint detection and prevention tools to thwart malicious hacks
•Set up patch management systems to update applications automatically
•Implement comprehensive vulnerability management systems across all assets on-premises and in the cloud
•Work with IT operations to set up a shared disaster recovery/business continuity plan
•Work with HR and/or team leads to educate employees on how to identify suspicious activity
•Develop a set of security standards and best practices for SCGC and recommend security enhancements
•Develop strategies to respond to and recover from a security breach.
•Install and use the software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect SCGC's sensitive ****rmation.
•Conduct periodic scans of networks to find any vulnerability and also to conduct penetration testing.
•Lead security incident response activities to minimize the impact and perform a technical and forensic investigation
Qualifications:
•University Graduate in IT or any related sciences
•4-6 years of solid experience on InfoSec and cyber Sec
•Previous experience as an InfoSec
•Experience with anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls, and content filtering
•Known risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
•Experience designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures
•Know about disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies, and methods
•Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures
•Have professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications
•Ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management
•Ability to read and use the results of mobile code, malicious code, and anti-virus software
•Strong understanding of endpoint security solutions to include File Integrity Monitoring and Data Loss Prevention
