Description
1. Release information with sound judgment to clients, patients and/or other agencies in accordance with hospital regulations and status.
2. Assist, coordinate and cooperate with the hospital management and medical team in dissemination of important concerns and issues through proper communication.
3. Prioritizes clients' and patients' needs and responds to inquiry following hospital rules and regulations.
4. Determine and assess patient and client eligibility and capacity prior to admission and relay important information to other members of the management and medical team of the hospital.
5. Maintains and upholds strict confidentiality of the nature of patients for admission.
6. Prepares assigned documents and reports and ensures on time submission as required by the management.
7. Secures patient/client consent and ensures documents are properly and completely accomplished prior to admission.
8. Ensures and validates that correct and appropriate individual is present and authorized prior to release, issuance and signing of documents.
9. Coordinates and secures approval from different HMO prior to the release of approval for check-up and admission.
10. Ensures availability and submission of necessary documents to protect the hospital from possible lawsuit
11. Notify station for patient admission.
12. Maintains accurate records of admitted clients in the admission logbook as prescribed by PHIC
13. Records and encodes accurate data in hospital Bizbox system
14. Renders sympathetic, courteous and timely service to clients to achieve a positive and favorable impression of the quality of service of the hospital.
15. Performs other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
