Job Description
Conducts daily infection surveillance activities to collect and record data on the presence of infection among patients and personnel
Investigates and analyzes Health Care Acquired Infections in conjunction with the Microbiologist and prepares Health Acquired Infection monthly report for the hospital Infection Control Committee
Reviews and updates policies/procedures with the Infection Control Head Department and Infection Control Committee members
Maintain close Liaison with Employee health Clinic of the Hospital to ascertain the presence of infection in hospital personnel
Acts as resource person on Infection Control issues and support for nurses in clinical areas
Serves as an adviser to department head on departmental policies and procedures related to infection control
provides education on Infection Control practice to all staff
Prepares monthly statistics and other reports on Infection Control in the Hospital
Performs other applicable tasks and duties within the realm of knowledge, skills and abilities
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Prof'l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof'l License Exam) holder.
Female applicants are preferred for this role.
