Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions in Design and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.
We are presently seeking for Industrial Engineer that will be responsible for the processes that increase productivity, eliminate wastes, and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards within the organization.
Main responsibilities:
Acts as a critical resource in capacity management and SAP 4.6 ERP system improvements.
Oversees plant/site capacity, manpower and equipment requirement, investment justification, space management, and site utilization against demand.
Establishes work standards and reviews process capability through Time and Motion Study (TMS).
Manages and supervises SAP product routing, work center, and bill of material database.
Leads and supervises BOM and Rout audit team.
Drives and supports LEAN initiative projects.
Provides a structured analysis through used of simulation, methods engineering, risk assessment, and strategic management.
Leads and supports relay-out activities.
Leads and supports Team's goals initiative, performance, and core development.
Requirements:
BS Industrial Engineering or BS Manufacturing Engineering (Note: Master's Degree has an advantage).
Demonstrates ability to drive productivity improvements in materials consumption and manpower efficiency.
Demonstrates ability to establish capacity models, standard materials consumption and product costing analysis.
Experience in SAP is an advantage specifically in BOM, routing and work center database maintenance.
Has more than 4 years' experience in semiconductors or electronics manufacturing industry.
Knowledgeable in capacity and headcount requirements planning and establishing standard material consumption.
Experience in SAP, Class A ERP and LEAN manufacturing is an advantage.
Knowledgeable in Lean programs such as 5S / TPM, JIT-Kanban, Workcell, SMED, Takt time, Visual Controls, Kaizen Blitz, Value Stream Mapping, mix model manufacturing and Poka Yoke.
Knowledgeable in capacity and headcount requirements planning and establishing standard material consumption.
Must be computer literate and well versed in AutoCAD, Excel, MS Project and ERP system.
Hard Working, results-oriented person, can work under pressure, and with minimal supervision.
