) Responsible for electrical breakdown repair and troubleshooting of plant machines and equipment.
Coordinates closely with production personnel on specific location of equipment malfunction for corrective
maintenance evaluation.
2) Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical machine parts, its auxiliary equipment and other
production devices using electrical test instruments and tools. Initiates repair servicing and adjsutments if
necessary.
3) Conducts routing inspection, tests and observes operation of machineries and equipment to detect causes
of electrical and electronic system malfunctions on such devise as drive controller and other elements.
Reports findings to superiors immediately and plans the required preventive or corrective maintenance work
on the defective equipment.
4) Inspects circuits and wirings to ensure compliance to safety regulations such as proper grounding and
shielding.
5) Relays information to superior or other concerned regarding preventive and corrective maintenance
requirements, including repair needs of electrical equipment.
6) Can interpret electrical/electronics plan according to their standards.
7) Knowledge in the operation of electric generating units and can perform minor trouble shooting activities.
8) Full knowledge in the operation of R.O. system, water softener and water chillers.
9) Full knowledge in the operation of steam boilers and air compressors.
10) Regularly replaces defective machine parts as necessary and maintain proper upkeep of equipment and
assigned workplace.
11) Checks proper handling of production equipment by operators and calls their attention in case of
mishandling. Illustrates proper handling to operator.
12) Participate in any team building effort that will cater process improvement projects wherein engineering support is highly needed.
13) Can perform commissioning job for the newly acquired machineries without any close supervision.
14) Full knowledge in the operation of all production machineries and their process in relevance to
troubleshooting activities.
