Job Description
The Inbound Transport Coordinator is responsible for the effective management of RM shipments from origin to the destination to support the Inbound Logistics operations. He/She is responsible for providing transport requirements, monitoring of in-transit shipments, ensures timely delivery of goods in the right condition & effectively coordinates with transport service providers & stakeholders.
RM Delivery Execution
Manages the transportation of raw materials from the determined point of origin to the destination as required by the Inbound Logistics Team.
Checks the delivery plan of the & identifies the sufficient transport requirements for the movement of raw materials (via trucks, container vans, tramping vessels or courier) to external warehouses, toll sites or other plants/sites.
Coordinates with the Transport team to provide the transport requirements of the Inbound Logistics activities and ensures that there are no conflicts on the scheduling & management of shared logistics resources.
Ensures availability of transport requirements & timeliness of delivery execution as indicated in the delivery plan.
Provides proper documents for the assigned trips as required by the operations, service providers and stakeholders.
Keeps proper monitoring & tracking of in-transit materials and resolves any issues encountered affecting the committed delivery lead time.
Updates stakeholders on the status of departure, in-transit & arrival of stock transfers or deliveries.
Stakeholder Management
Coordinates with transport service providers on our transportation requirements & provides timely feedback on any issues and concerns encountered with their personnel or equipment. Ensures that the service providers will deliver the goods on-time & undamaged.
Ensures that service providers' billings are validated & endorsed for timely processing of payments.
Manage relationships with transport service providers and conduct scheduled performance reviews as required.
Documents transport related incidents & escalates them to immediate superior or authorized personnel to provide proper disposition.
Attend to the concerns of service providers related to our operations and make sure that these are properly addressed & communicated.
Provides updated freight rates to inventory specialist/analysts for the correct basis of cost update transactions.
Assists the inventory specialist & inbound supervisors for the review & validation of freight billings in managing the AFD & AIC accounts.
Monitors Unloading of Incoming Shipments
Incoming deliveries in container vans:
Communicated the arrival & status of incoming shipments to the Inbound team to ensure timely unloading & turnaround of the vans as indicated with the service-level agreement of the shipping lines & KPI metrics.
Monitors the aging of incoming container vans in CDO CY.
Manages the inventory of container vans inside the plant under Inbound Logistics. Make sure that container vans do not exceed the allowable number to prevent traffic congestion inside the plant without sacrificing the availability of van requirements.
Provides regular reports on container van status to all stakeholders. Escalate issues encountered to the teams involved for proper execution & resolution
Incoming deliveries in local trucks:
Monitors the registered RM truck deliveries at the plant gate and assists in the sequencing & calling of truckers based on the advice from the inbound warehouseman on shift.
Provides feedback to the Inbound team on the status of aging of registered trucks to ensure that we hit the truck turnaround time KPI target.
Assists in the management of traffic inside the plant. Regulates the entry of trucks when necessary.
Submits report on truck TAT & unloading rate.
Incoming deliveries in tramping vessels:
Communicates the arrival RM deliveries via tramping vessel to Iligan port.
Coordinates with Inbound Logistics supervisor for the schedule of vessel unloading and provides feedback to the shipping lines.
Food Safety:
Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.
Performs other related tasks as may be assigned by the Team Leader.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree holder in any 4 year course (preferably Business Administration)
Experience:
At least 1 year work experience related to Logistics.
Licenses:

Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Computer literacy skills.
