The Import Officer is responsible for imported commodities by processing all importation requisites, collaborating with all stakeholders for funding and legal clearances, ensuring all relevant documentation are in place, and monitoring status of all importation requirements.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESImpex Strategy: Review and implement strategies to ensure compliance and efficiency of Import and Export Operations targets.Impex Operations: Manage processes for international and local shipment, transportation and provide support for the various steps of the procedures.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies.Project Management: Organize and participate in project initiatives and development activities to enhance operations.Project and Continuous Improvement: Periodic monitoring of achievements, challenges, reskilling and upskillingPerform other duties as may be assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics (Import and Export), Customs Administration and related field.Minimum of three (3) years working experience in Importation & Exportation and/or preferably with related work experience in the same position from multinational companiesTechnical knowledge on Customs and Tariff Law and Ruling, Customs practices/processes and application of relevant government legislations (NTC, OMB, BIR, BPS, DENR, etc.)Amenable to work in Carmona, Cavite from Mondays to Fridays, 9 AM to 6 PM.
