IMPORT AND DOCUMENTATION STAFF
 
To ensures completeness and correctness of permits and shipping documents. Communicates and coordinates with brokers, shipping lines, Bai, finance and Logistics to ensure immediate release and delivery of containers as required to avoid additional expenses.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Shipment Arrival vs Purchases
Demurrage/PWR
Product Evaluation
MGT Reports and Documentation
Ensures updated ETA of shipments through daily tracking and tracing
Update PO status in NS to "Arrived" once confirmed from Brokers and Shipping Lines
Closely coordinate with brokers for the immediate release of containers
Compute ELC and Applies SPS as per required ETA
Record sps import clearance number, its validity date tagged "Awaiting shipping schedule" in NS and save softcopy to its designated folder.
Coordinate with broker re availability of funds for SPS Application payment.
Ensure correctness and consistency of below data in advance documents and sps.
Update NS per advance documents.
Advises Finance officer regarding document settlement and updates google sheet
Coordinates with brokers and messenger for original documents pick up from bank.
Advises broker for shipment releasing priority
Facilitates cash advance for brokers on Cebu Shipment
Identify items for product evaluation and coordinates with Log/QA
SPS Data to be collated and analyzed for management report
Visayas Arrival update to identify shortages and possible surplus
Demurrage/Detention/Power Monitoring
Assist in preparation of documents for renewal application of NMIS
Assist in preparation of MAV Application documents and BOC accreditation.
Qualifications
Graduate of a 4-year Business Course, preferably BS Customs Admin
At least 1 year experience in importation
Amenable to work in MAGUIKAY, MANDAUE - AREA
The position is a fixed term CONTRACT.
