JOB SUMMARY
Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients and their relatives.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES
1. Willing to work in other areas of the hospital, if required.
2. Assessing a patient's condition and planning and implementing patient care plans.
3. Treating wounds and providing advanced life support
4. Assisting physicians in performing procedures
5. Observing and recording patient vital signs
6. Ensuring that ventilators, monitors and other types of medical equipment function properly
7. Administering intravenous fluids and medications
8. Ordering diagnostic tests
9. Collaborating with fellow members of the critical care team
10. Responding to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment
11. Acting as patient advocate
12. Providing education and support to patient families
GENERAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing, units in Masteral Degree an
advantage
Required License : Registered Nurse, IVT, BLS, ACLS
Related Experience: at least one (1) year of nursing experience
Knowledge / skills required: Professional competence in clinical practice and skill
administration; knowledge on all nursing policies and procedures, hospital policies
and procedures; computer literate, matured, can keep highly confidential
information, honest and trustworthy
