Job Description
Summary
ENOWA's Hydrogen Technology & Innovation Business Unit is looking for a Hydrogen aviation project manager to implement and execute the green hydrogen aviation innovation strategy through the deployment of end-to-end demonstrations projects within Hydrogen aviation mobility within NEOM's demand points. Requiring a general understanding of operations and implementation of zero emission aerospace projects (hydrogen, carbon capturing and Sustainable Aviation Fuel). An end-to-end demonstration project would involve planning and executing the full operation of infrastructure from production, transport, refuelling, and storage and collaboration will end-use companies (aircrafts and drones) . All deployed infrastructure, aircrafts and drone solutions must be cutting-edge and innovative where they could be further developed from an R&D perspective. Obtaining permits and understanding overall regulatory aspects within the context of KSA will be a new area where the PM will need to connect with the regulatory bodies and experts to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
Project Management
Plan, coordinate, and manage projects related to Hydrogen aviation technology innovation. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This will involve coordinating and ensuring delivery of hydrogen aircrafts/drones along with the associated infrastructure. Coordinate with Hydrogen asset development and asset operations to ensure physical delivery of the demonstrations in terms of asset build-up.
Stakeholder Engagement
Work alongside Hydrogen business development unit with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and industry associations, to build relationships and facilitate collaboration on Hydrogen aviation technology innovation initiatives.
Technical Expertise
Serve as a technical expert on hydrogen mobility and infrastructure, providing guidance and support to other professionals within the organization. Keep up to date with industry developments and best practices in Hydrogen aviation infrastructure and entire ecosystem.
Permits and Regulations Oversight
Coordinate with regulatory bodies internal within NEOM and support the team in obtaining all aviation /H2 specific certifications and assemble all safety requirements. As hydrogen mobility in aerospace is still nascent.
Organize
Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities.
Coordinate
Coordinate internal resources and work with technology & services suppliers for the flawless execution of multiple projects
Plan
Determine strategies to move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results.
Flexible and agile
Capable to cope and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment like NEOM and work on Ad-Hoc T&I projects when necessary.
Background, Skills
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in project management within the hydrogen mobility industry, aerospace industry, or consulting firm focused on hydrogen/ zero emission aerospace projects.
Effective use of professional project management tools for monitoring and reporting progress
Strong understanding of hydrogen and/or aerospace industry
Gas technology, renewable energy or power/energy related experience is a plus.
Excellent technical skills and ability to develop solutions with external suppliers.
Excellent MS computer software skills (Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
Qualifications
Bachelors in aviation, chemical, mechanical. Electrical Engineering or relevant
Project management certification preferable
Master's degree in engineering
