Installs, maintains and repairs HVAC equipment; tanks, pumps, timers, valves, and controls
Installs maintains and repairs air handlers and related equipment; air supply, return, motors, fans, and vents
Installs, maintains, and repairs chilled water-related equipment and condensers; water pumps, valves, regulators, and chemicals
Safely troubleshoot and repair all types of HVAC manufacturing and plant equipment
Demonstrate the initiative to investigate and offer improvements to plant operations
Work safely and follow all established plant safety policies and procedures
Communicate appropriately with all site management employees
Service, clean, inspect and repair equipment periodically following established PMs
Safely operate mobile equipment such as fork trucks, carts, trucks, lifts, boom lifts, etc.
Create notifications and follow up on needed repairs and order required parts
Utilize problem-solving techniques in interacting with other employees in resolving issues
Input data into Carrier's TMS work order and asset management system
Knowledge of HVAC or refrigeration tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade
Knowledge of repair, maintenance, and installation techniques
Abiding by HVAC trade codes, standards, and regulations
Reading and understanding schematics
