JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a high quality estimator that can complete ductwork take offs and complete pricing estimations. To undertake an estimating role for the mechanical services industry (HVAC), where as experience is necessary for this scope of work.

The Responsibilities:
Online pdf measure tools /calculation would be required.
Ideally, should have a sound knowledge of First Principles Estimating and be confident in undertaking the following tasks,
Prepare cost estimates for projects and tenders as per the scope of work supplied by the sales team.
Produce estimates for change requests and analyse/evaluate and provide ad hoc estimates to the business.
Compute cost factors including material and labour requirements to prepare estimates used for management purposes.
Consult with the sales team, vendors, engineers and other stakeholders to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Analyse completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs.
Identify cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement efforts.
Provide improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures
 
The Work Set-Up:
Work onsite only 
8 hour work shift
Monday to Friday
Day shift (6am - 3pm)

JOB QUALIFICATION
The Requirements:
Degree, trade or tertiary qualification in Mechanical Services, or Project Management certification
3 6 years of experience in HVAC Industry, in estimating or quantity surveying is essential.
Knowledge of Excel is necessary.
Strong communication skills with the ability to form strong working relationships with people from all walks of life
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with fantastic organisation skills
Confidence with computers and software systems
Highly developed interpersonal skills, professional attitude and great personal presentation
Proven ability to achieve targets while maintaining a focus on quality and safety
