Job Description
installing conductors and aerial equipment, and underground cables and equipment
installing and maintaining equipment associated with electrical supply such as transformers
maintaining poles and associated hardware, and continuity of electrical supply and street lighting
may undertake substation installation and maintenance, and specialised testing and revenue meter installation
conducting routine maintenance on the aerial and underground electricity supply network
attending to electrical breakdown and emergencies
Qualifications:
A minimum of 6 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
Can speak and understand English
Must be an IELTS Passer or IELTS Exempt
IELTS Passer- overall band score of at least 5.0 with a score of at least 5 in each of the tests
IELTS Exempt- must have 5 years of full time study (4 years of High School plus at least 1 year of College/Vocational courses)
