We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR Officer to manage core HR functions including payroll, attendance, employee engagement, recruitment, and employee relations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, approachable, and capable of handling sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
 
Reporting Relationship
Directly Reports to the President
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & Attendance Monitoring
Process accurate and timely payroll, including government contributions, deductions, and final pays
Monitor daily attendance, leaves, tardiness, and timekeeping records using HR systems or manual logs
Ensure compliance with labor laws related to working hours, rest days, and holidays
Employee Engagement
Plan and implement employee engagement activities, wellness programs, and company events
Conduct surveys and gather feedback to improve workplace culture and morale
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment
Employee Relations & Case Handling
Address employee concerns and grievances in a fair and timely manner
Conduct internal investigations and recommend appropriate disciplinary actions when needed
Ensure all cases are documented and handled in accordance with company policies and labor laws
Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment process: job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
Liaise with department heads to understand hiring needs and timelines
Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
At least 2 years of experience in a generalist HR role
Strong understanding of labor laws and payroll practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Experience with HRIS or payroll systems is a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally
