Job Summary:
 
The Human Resources Officer will play a vital role in supporting the HR department in various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training sessions.
Maintain accurate records of candidates and recruitment metrics.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues.
Assist in the resolution of employee concerns and conflicts while promoting a positive work environment.
Support employee engagement initiatives and activities.
Training and Development:
Help identify training needs and assist in organizing training programs for staff development.
Maintain training records and provide support in the evaluation of training effectiveness.
Administration Benefits:
Assist in managing employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
Support employees in understanding their benefits options and assist with any related issues or claims.
Record Keeping and Compliance:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
Assist in the preparation and submission of various HR reports and metrics.
Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
General HR Support:
Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager.
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings and maintaining HR documentation.
Assist in creating and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Previous experience in an HR role is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to confidentiality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
