We are looking for a proactive and experienced HSE Officer to ensure the health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained across our operations. The HSE Officer will be responsible for promoting a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and reducing environmental risks.Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Provide recommendations for corrective actions based on audit findings and safety incidents.
Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain up-to-date HSE documentation, reports, and records.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations and guidelines.
Assist in emergency response planning and the implementation of contingency measures.
Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.
Collaborate with project teams to support safety compliance on-site.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or HSE discipline (from an accredited institution).
Professional Certifications:
Minimum NEBOSH IGC or equivalent.
Any additional HSE certifications are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE in the oil & gas or petrochemical EPC industry.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
Proficient in safety-related software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
