About the role:
The HR Specialist - Benefits and Payroll is responsible for the accurate administration of employee benefits and the end-to-end processing of payroll. This role involves pre-payroll preparations, payroll execution, post-payroll audits, and various other HR-related responsibilities.
Your responsibilities:
Pre-Payroll:
Review and audit timekeeping records to ensure accuracy.
Maintain updated employee records, including earnings, deductions, timekeeping, bank accounts, and other relevant payroll information.
Collect and input BIR 2316 (Tax Certificate) details into the system.
Payroll:
Ensure the accuracy of payroll calculations and tax computations.
Conduct audits of payroll inputs for completeness and correctness.
Distribute payslips to employees in a timely manner.
Post Payroll:
Audit annual tax calculations as reflected in the Payroll System, including statutory deductions.
Compile payroll data for management, auditors, and other stakeholders.
Prepare reports and conduct analysis of payroll data.
Process BIR 2307 forms, as applicable.
Other Duties:
Manage HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and Timekeeping systems.
Calculate final payments for separated employees and prepare separation documents (e.g., Quitclaim).
Process advance payments, terminations, and other out-of-cycle payments.
Address and resolve payroll-related concerns and requests in a timely manner.
Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., Payroll System vendor, accounting firm, auditors) to resolve payroll-related concerns, issues, and requests.
Review and improve Payroll processes and guidelines.
Conduct learning sessions related to Payroll for employees.
Handle various administrative tasks as needed.
Ad Hoc Responsibilities:
Participate in special projects as required by the organization.
Generate reports as requested.
Get this opportunity if you have:
A minimum of 3-5 years of Payroll experience, ideally in the BPO industry.
Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation laws and regulations.
Proficiency in using Payroll systems.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and self-direction.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Flexibility in handling various HR-related tasks.
Honest and trustworthy.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

What happens after you submit your application?
The whole process takes around 4 weeks:
There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.

If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away.
