Shield GEO provides outsourced employment and payroll in over 90 countries. You will, however, be supporting our internal employees with ensuring they have a smooth employment with us.
This is an administration heavy role. You will have plenty of support from our operational teams, systems and technology platform.
You will have the opportunity to work remotely and with flexible hours. We are happy to support you if you'd like to travel while working with us, but expect you to have completed your training before commencing your travel plans. MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be working together with the Head of Talent and Culture in creating and maintaining an inclusive and supportive remote workplace. There are five main areas in which you will have responsibilities:
­ Recruitment
Set up recruitment ad (using BreezyHR as ATS)
Provide great recruiting experience for candidates by also coordinating with Hiring Managers to ensure timely updates are provided
Reviewing applications and assessing candidates using predefined requirements
Capture candidate details to create Candidate Package for Hiring Managers to review and keeping it updated with notes from interviews
Scheduling interviews (values & team interview) with available interviewers
Hiring Managers
Support in moving candidates through the recruitment process
Keeping Hiring Managers up to date on a weekly basis on status of recruitment
Maintain a warm relationship with list of potential candidates for future hires
Organise offer calls and carry out reference checks
­Onboarding
Working with employment partners in creating related documentation for onboarding
Collect onboarding documents and forwarding to employment partners
Identify and notify Buddies
Notify tech to set up accounts
Include in appropriate systems e.g. Bamboo, Typeform & Slack channels
­Offboarding
Coordinating return of equipment if applicable
Confirming final allowances and payroll
Confirming final leave payout
Trigger tech to close down accounts
Employee Maintenance
Complete all processes and tasks related to internal employee salary increases and promotion
Maintain employee files and records in HRIS (BambooHR)
Monthly payroll and coordination or allowances and benefits
Assess and improve of HR processes

Collating information and delivering in an easy to consume manner

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
Experience:
1-2 years in a similar role
Skills:
Intermediate skills in Google Office Suite
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Maintains high level of confidentiality
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Excellent people skills
High attention to detail & confidentiality - you'll be working with some pretty important and personal information like contracts and payroll inputs that impact people's finances, so it's important we get the details right and we protect people's private information
Ability to prioritise work - we're not a very big team: it'll just be you and the head of the team! There's lots to do and we're always trying to improve, so you should be able to know what's the priority
Great time management - because there is so much to do, and added to that, we're an internationally dispersed company with a policy of avoiding overtime, so you'll need to be good at structuring your tasks and your work day
Good problem solving skills - you might find that you're by yourself sometimes, so you'll need to use your own initiative to solve problems and get answers
Collaborative - we love to work together with all sorts of different people to get their different opinions in order to get the job done
