The HR Manager will handle a joint venture project located in Meycauayan, Bulacan, and will lead the HR team in:
Recruitment
Organizational Development
Employee Relations
Serve as advisor regarding labor-related concerns
Provide improvements in joint venture's HR Policy
Competency
With solid experience as HR Generalist at a managerial level. Previous experience with Japanese management is an advantage. Ability to communicate well with Japanese officers to better explain Philippine Labor policies, especially during the revision of the current HR Policy to ensure fair and uniformed ground across all JV personnel regardless of company affiliation.
Job Summary
Directs the HR team to deliver comprehensive HR services including but not limited to recruitment, records management, compensation & benefits, learning and talent development, employee relations and administrative works.
HR Planning & Execution
Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices;
Monitors, measures and reports on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievement within agreed formats and timescales;
Liaise with other departmental heads so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of HR development, and to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purpose and achievements;
Workforce Planning & Strategy
Maintains up to date recruitment progress report, talent database and all related staffing communication. Manages talent and succession planning, oversees recruitment activities and campaigns
Talent Management
Interface with key personnel and training providers for the implementation of training programs to meet the business needs;
Identifies key skills, specialty skills and propose training needs accordingly;
Employee Relations
Deals with complex disciplinary/grievances and HR Issues;
Fosters a conducive working environment through employee relations activities and communication;
Technical Effectiveness
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.
