HR Business Partner - Worldpanel Asia Region
Office Location: Flexible across the following Worldpanel Asia Countries (India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam)
A new opportunity has arisen to join our Worldpanel HR Business Partner team, working closely with our Asia Regional HR director and leadership team to deliver our Kantar and Worldpanel divisional people agenda across this diverse region.
You will be joining our People Team at a time of transformation. We are re-shaping our approaches to build our capabilities through an engaged and diverse team of people, doing amazing work within an inclusive and nurturing culture, amplifying the things that make Kantar special and give us our commercial edge.
Our HRBPs are embedded in our division and, enabled by our People Operations and Centres of Expertise, are in a critical position to help us achieve our growth goals. They build deep partnerships with our leaders and senior management on the most critical talent-related areas such as workforce planning, talent, culture and organisational effectiveness through a commercial focus.
Purpose
Work closely with the HR Director, to deliver Kantar's global, divisional / functional people agenda, partnering closely with senior management of a dedicated client group and colleagues in the wider People Team to support the delivery of people strategies, solutions and processes to your client group.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership
Partner, advise and coach leadership and management teams within your client group to accelerate the delivery of the business agenda through a people lens, with solutions that are efficient, strategic and fit for purpose.
Provide meaningful data and insights to support / influence business strategy and informed decision making.
Work in collaboration with the division / function HRD and other Business Partners to develop and execute the people strategy and drive delivery of plans with your relevant stakeholder group.
Establish collaborative and supporting working partnerships with the CoEs and People Operations to be able to serve as a strategic consultant to stakeholders on a range of people issues and leveraging expert advice where necessary.
Organisational Effectiveness
Partner with business leaders to support organisational change and business transformation, bringing in expertise as required from your network across the broader People Team and CoEs to provide appropriate solutions and apply effective change management mechanisms.
Support leaders to identify risks and opportunities for organisation design changes (e.g. spans and layers reviews) and help build communication and implementation plans.
Bring an independent perspective and adopt factual-base and trusted advisor mindset when supporting transformations across the business.
Advise and guide managers on how to deliver sound remuneration decisions using the policies and processes in place.
Talent Management
Implement workforce plans and initiatives that help deliver business strategies and targets and maximise our critical organisational capabilities.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to support the evolution of talent selection methods and best practice.
Support the development and implementation of talent management, recruitment and retention strategies through identifying capability strengths, gaps and action plans.
Partner with leaders and senior managers to build diverse development / succession cohorts.
Assist leaders and senior managers with improving team effectiveness.
Facilitate development workshops and enable the development of others.
Employee Experience
Enable leaders and senior managers to investigate, analyse and take insights and action from people surveys and data points which drive employee engagement and inclusion.
Support managers with the development of positive and engaging organisational culture with a strong focus on I&D.
Champion diversity and drive portfolios of work that support the business to build an inclusive culture across all aspects of the employee journey, policies and practices to deliver our I&D strategy.
Manage and advise on complex employee relations activities, demonstrating sound judgement, a knowledge of market legislation and commercial awareness.
