The Primary purpose of the role is streamlining HR functions, reporting on HR metrics, enhancing workforce retention, predicting staffing needs, managing termination processes, managing risk, ensuring staff wellness, and ensuring compliance regulations.
This role is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business unit. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
Your essential responsibilities:
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Addresses employee conflicts and complete investigations as required. They work with management to administer employee discipline or corrective action when needed. They also assess employee engagement and retention, and actively work to identify, analyze, and improve any problematic areas.
Designs and implements training and development programs for hourly and salaried employees. Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to operations and other departments
Provides strategic support in ensuring that the business is appropriately resourced (by both internal and external candidates) to meet its skill requirements to meet's the operational and growth strategies within the business. This will include the utilization of appropriate resourcing tools
Provides ideas and framework; and ensures appropriate implementation of employee engagement programs, communication plans; and rewards and recognition programs.
Provides line management support for the execution of best practice performance management tools, including:
Performance Appraisal
Performance Improvement Processes
Help design, support and implement local organization change programs as appropriate
Provides HR support to all HR transactional activities associated with employee new hire, payroll and employee exit
Ensure all HR related data / filing systems are up to date and have data integrity.
Supervises HR business partnering functions, ensuring achievement of HR metrics related to business partnering
Support data requests and HR approval processes within the wider Eaton business
Qualifications
If You Have:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Psychology or any related course
Minimum of 5-year experience performing HR Generalist function
HR background and strongly familiar with Labor Law
Industry experience, manufacturing set0up preferred
Above average English communication both verbal and written
