Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts regular meetings with respective business leaders.
Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
Participates in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follows-up to ensure training objectives are met.
Drives the performance review process, including facilitation of performance management, administration and communication on the performance review process.
Ensures that all HR policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and continue to reflect both up-to-date employment law and best practice.
Spearheads employee engagement programs and rewards & recognition that drive towards employee retention.
Deals with workplace conflict through the introduction of an effective mediation service.
Acts as HR lead for matters associated with safety and security. He/She must be capable in handling stress and risk management that direct the staff towards business continuity.
Supervise the Operations Coordinators and provide guidance and development in handling discipline process and employee engagement.
In partnership with Recruitment, analyses cause of attrition and provides support on how to improve retention
REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's/College Degree in Management, Business Administration or Human Resources Management
Preferably a Manager or an Assistant Manager as a Business Partner
Can be a local/expat who are HR professionals
Major Skills and Competencies
Stakeholder Management - experience in dealing with employees across all levels in the organization. Proven capability to initiate mid and high-level projects that impacts the organization as a whole. Partnership experience with business leaders in making both strategic and tactical decisions retaining to the company's human resources. Change management exposure a definite plus
Engagement - experience in initiating, planning and rolling out of engagement initiatives aimed at create and culture that energized and enabled people to stay and do good at their respective jobs.
Organization Development - Involvement in organizational evaluation/analysis and formulation of improvement and development projects initiatives that positively impacted the organization in measureable ways. In-depth knowledge of performance management
General HR - working knowledge on payroll, comp and ben, case management, coaching
Business Acumen - in-depth knowledge of the industry and the nature of the BPO business
Analytics - capability to mine data, put together analysis that helped management make well-informed regarding its human resources and its working environment. Working knowledge in the use of any analytics tools a plus.
Case Management - Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
Effective project management and communication skills
Excellent Communication, Presentation and Interpersonal skills
Advance knowledge on Philippine Labor Laws is a must

Must be flexible with work schedule and assignments, including working on weekends and public holidays
